Have you ever heard someone say, "Do as I say not what I do"? Isn't this a double standard? Yet how many times do I say one thing and do something else? Jesus tells his disciples, "Do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice." Of course sometimes what is preached is the best intention of the one who is speaking but because of human weakness it just isn't practiced.
Today let me not judge another or myself too harshly. Let me look for the times when my words don't match my actions and find the reason why.
