PRAYER / Lenten Reflection 2005 Tuesday, February 15, 2005

"When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words...."

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would I rate my prayer life today? No matter what the answer, none of us is satisfied. To maximize my answer, I need to examine my informal times of prayer during the day – my times of silence, my times of caring for others' needs, of listening with my heart to another's journey-story. Few words are needed as we stand in God's presence in these situations.

With Sophia Wisdom's help, I will find the ways in which I know God's presence and truth within me and then seek to share that gift with others today.
